What a fabulous day for the first market on the 9th November. Our local Zithers playing from 9am to 10am followed by the Band O Couts from 10am to 1pm. Packed with a huge variety of stalls for great Christmas shopping and be sure to get a ticket in our huge Christmas Raffle. Gold coin donation much appreciated. See you there!!
Meet Me in Birregurra is back again with markets, music and art needs met over the coming months with the Art Show Gala Opening on Friday 7th November kicking off a weekend full of events including the Birregurra Art Show (8th and 9th), the Spring into Summer Picnic Community Day on the 9th with live music, food and wine. Lots of fun for the kids - free face painting and an Animal Nursery. The first of the months markets commences on Sunday 10th November. About the Show
THE BIRREGURRA ART SHOW WAS STARTED IN 1992 AS A FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE BY THE LOCAL BIRREGURRA PRIMARY SCHOOL PARENTS (AND THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ART TEACHER). THE CHILDREN’S ART AND CERAMICS WERE EXHIBITED ALONG WITH THE WORK OF ARTISTS FROM AROUND THE REGION AND THE SHOW BECAME AN ANNUAL SOCIAL FEATURE FOR THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY. IT HAS EVOLVED OVER THE YEARS TO BECOME AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY CALENDAR, AND A MAJOR ATTRACTION FOR BIRREGURRA.

Spring into Summer Community Picnic
When: Saturday 8th November. 2pm - 7pm. Opening of Upgraded Birregurra Playground at 1pm.
Where: Birregurra Park, Cnr Strachan and Main Street Birregurra
What: Bring a blanket, a picnic and your family and friends along to an afternoon and early evening of music and a celebration of the first days of summer. Some hay bales will be available.
The live music line up includes:
Gabby Steel, Marry and Carl Trio, Baked Goods and The Plastic Cheeses.
And for the kids, there is FREE face painting and Animal Nursery coming to amuse and delight the little ones.
Great local food and beverages will also be available for purchase from the Birregurra Cricket Club
HOW: Simply pack your rugs and camp chairs, bundle up the family and wander down to the park to chill out with the locals. Entry is FREE. Gold Coin Donation buckets available. There are no ATM's in Birregurra.
PLEASE NOTE: IN THE CASE OF WET WEATHER - The Event will be cancelled. Information will be advised via Facebook and local radio.

Where: Birregurra Park, Cnr Strachan and Main Streets How much: Gold Coin Donation greatly appreciated. Fill your bags with goodies as you stroll through the marvellous stalls for food, fashion, and fabulous treats! Up to 70 great artisan stalls. Lots of local produce, hand crafts, live music and an all round great day out. Enjoy a snag at the Cricket Club BBQ or head to our local traders for something more substantial.
