On behalf of the Birregurra Festival and Art Show organising teams, we have made the decision to CANCEL this year’s festival due to the COVID 19 situation. Whilst the festival is 6 months away, the social distancing and ongoing restrictions will continue especially with a mass gathering of the size of our festival.

We are working towards this year in 2020 to be a productive review and refreshing the festival with new ideas.

We thank all of the Birregurra community, residents, participants and patrons for your ongoing support and wish you, your group and families a safe and healthy year.

We look forward to bringing you the 21st Birregurra Festival and Art Show in October 2021.

As a contributor to the festival, the Birregurra Markets may start in November but as yet to be decided.

A Birregurra local and preschool family has won the 2019 Cow Pat Lotto. Congratulations to Boz and her family.

​Funds raised by Cow Pat Lotto go toward Birregurra Preschool projects and infrastructure improvements.

Hold your horses nellie. The Birregurra Festival 20th Anniversary program is finally here!! (Cue trumpet fanfare). It's time to gather all your family and friends for a serious planning session.

Here's your top 7 top tips for planning the best festival ever.

1. Plan your festival style - playful or practical?
2. Pick your shows and find your crew - prioritise the music acts you want to see and make sure you bring along some awesome friends and family to hang with
3. Pack the stuff everyone forgets - sunscreen, hat, brolly, portable charger (or head to the re-charge station at the yards)
4. Bring an empty water bottle to keep hydrated - there's hydration stations to top up 
5. Don't let your shoes slow you down (or prepare & bring plenty of bandaids)
6. Be open to experiencing something new - enjoy music you've not heard before, have a chat at the historical centre, play cowpat lotto, walk a labyrinth at the historic Christ Church, buy a piece of artwork.
7. Ask a community volunteer - head to the Information Tent to find out all you need to know about the festival
