On the 2nd Sunday of each month from November to April, sample and stock up on the best local produce and handmade crafts from The Otways.....from the producer and maker to YOU.
The market buzzes with a variety of stallholders featuring local food growers and producers including local wineries, organic vege growers and artisan bread makers through to olive oil producers and award winning preserves and vinegar producers.
As well as food and wine, handcrafts are also a big feature with artisan woodworkers and sculptors, plant growers, and talented crafts people selling all sorts of wonderful products and gifts from handmade soap and jewellery to the inevitable hand knitted beanies and scarves - perfect gifts for your yourself and others. Head to Birre for a great day out. Enjoy the sausage sizzle under a lush green canopy of trees, pull up a hay bale and listen to some fantastic music and make sure you stay and treat yourself to lunch at one of our popular lunch destinations in the Birregurra township— Yield, The Royal Mail Hotel, Birregurra General Store, Otway Artisan (gluten free bakery) and Enchanted Tastes soon to open. |
